I bought my first home in Ballard when interest rates were hovering around 17% and a three bedroom craftsman home was $45,000. Today, with rates and home prices where they are at, incentives and concessions offered, it is an incredible time to think about buying your first home or selling and getting something ‘less’ or in a more walkable neighborhood.
